I was amazed by these Birds of Paradise and the roles that they play within their gender. The male shows off by flaunting themselves in front of a female and nothing it ever thought about to be over the top. Is it not amazing that we as humans are basically doing the same thing. But instead of the males only showing off women do as well in the human culture. I like the role of the female within the bird world. Even though they are not flaunting themselves with a beautiful coat or outer covering, they get to decide which male bird pursues them enough and impresses them enough to agree to be one with. I am up holding the desire to be like that of the bird. Knowing that the male will work hard and will want to be everything and more for me. I know that God has that one bunch of feathers for me. One person. One heart. One amazing man. And that I will wait.
