Trusting!

Trust: by definition means to have assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something, one in which confidence is placed or to have dependence on something future or contingent : hope. Hope brings emotions that build up adrenaline, set yourself up for disappointment or for success. Hope also is connected to future desire to be satisfied. Everyone should have hope and trust. Trust in the people around you, the people you share your heart with, trust in God which in all respects is the only trust that is actually plausible and true. Which is sad, upsetting, heart wrenching. Why is it so hard to trust people? My answer is that people have there own motives there own agenda of why they are friends with you. They either like the way you carry yourself and want to be like you so they be friend you and begin to become like a salamander not taking on themselves but you, and/or they envy what you have or the kind of life you live and want to be blessed by it or they truely care about your well being and want you to be happy want you to be desired. But deep down do they truly find satisfaction within doing so or are they just temporarily happy. People should be trustworthy should be a firm foundation for support not a wavering tightrope. Not all friendships will be tree roots or tight ropes but it feels like they tend to be one or the other. You are either relaxed and able to be completely be yourself or you are trying to balance your next move. I feel like i can say that i am a firm friendship that my friends would only grow from my influence not be weighed down but is there anyway for me to know? So I trust in God! Not knowing what will be my next chapter in my life or the group of people that will surround me in my 22rd year of life but I do know that God is Here, He is present, He is in control whether or not I give him all the controls or not is up to me, God never changes, He never is wavering but is a tree in the strongest storm possible. He will never move from us but us from Him, He will always support us, always comfort us.
